Fast and Efficient for Big Meets

I hosted big cross meets before using Perfect Timing. We started at 8am and the meets ended around 1:30pm. It took forever to complete our 8 race schedule. By the time we finished temperatures were brutal. It took 30 people to run the shoot and collect tags, and another team of workers to compile results. It was a labor intensive task and put a burden upon our volunteers.

Now, thanks to Perfect Timing, we can run a more efficient and safer meet. We now start one race before another finishes, because using perfect timing allows us to clear the finish chute more efficiently. Results are ready minutes after the finish of a race. Our meet still starts at 8am, but all the races finish by 11am, just before the day gets hot. The task of staffing our finish line has been simplified. It takes just a few people to cut and collect timing chips. Everyone else at the finish can focus on the health of the athletes. As for scoring, Perfect Timing is on it. They utilize chip timing and run backup cameras.

Perfect timing is now my first call when planning large invitational cross country meets.
