Phil Logan is a certified USA Track & Field Level I instructor and has been involved in track and field as a coach and administrator for over 20 years. He is a graduate and former All-American Football standout at the University of South Carolina. Coach Phil philosophy for track athletes is for them to develop fundamentals in running and assisting young kids to become better athletes. Coach Phil’s expertise is with the sprints (100\200\400) and jumps (LJ\TJ). Coach Phil is the founder of PT Elite Track Club and The Perfect Timing Group. He is an expert engineer in fully automatic timing (FAT) and founder of Georgia's largest commercial track FAT timing company. Mr. Logan is also employed as a Computer Network Engineer with Superior Essex Communications in Atlanta. Marvin Spears is an active advocate for youth athletics in the Roswell community. He is the current President of the Roswell Youth Football and Cheer Association. Marvin has been a youth coach for basketball, football and track for the past 8 years. He is also currently the Head Coach for the Roswell Jr. Hornets 7th Grade football team and the Head Coach for the Roswell Rec Hornets 5th Grade Division I team. Marvin will work with the sprinters & jumpers. He is a current Board Member for the Roswell PT Elite Track Club and will be the liaison to Roswell High School. Marvin is a graduate of Rhodes College where he ran track and played football.

Michael Greer has been a youth basketball and track coach for over ten years and has completed the USA Track & Field Level I certification course. Coach Greer is an original board member and a coach, specializing in distance (800m and higher) for the PT Elite Track Club. Coach Greer excelled as a two sport athlete in basketball and track and field at Redan High School in Stone Mountain Georgia. Upon Graduation, he attended Georgia Institute of Technology. Mr. Greer is currently a Compliance Officer for a logistics company in Atlanta. 

Scott Johnson has coached track and field for over 10 years. He is a certified USA Track & Field Level I instructor and a Georgia High School Association Community Coach. Scott is an original member of the PT Elite coaching staff and member of the board. His specialties are hurdles (100\110\300\400) and jumps and he loves to see young athletes work hard, compete and succeed. He is currently an assistant coach for hurdles at Pope HS in Cobb County. Scott is an engineer at Lockheed Martin Corp. Prior to Lockheed, he was a fighter pilot in the US Air Force. Scott is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma.

Steven Rowe is a graduate of the University of Georgia and was a member of their track and field team as a multi-event competitor from 1986 through 1991. Steve held the University’s decathlon and pentathlon records from 1990 until 2001 and is still listed as the number two scorer in each event. He has a passion for the field events (jumps and throws) and is able to teach the proper techniques by breaking down each movement of the various events into understandable pieces. He is married with four children and is Vice President of AEC, a planning, engineering and landscape architecture firm located in Roswell.

David Trice is also active in youth athletics in the Roswell community. He is the current Vice President of the Roswell Youth Football and Cheer Association. David has been a youth coach for football and track for the past 5 years and is currently the Head Coach for a 4th Grade Roswell Rec Hornet football team. David will work with the sprinters & mid-distance runners. David is a graduate of Georgia Institute of Technology where he played football and is currently a VP of Product Management for Oracle.
