Phil Logan (founder, CEO) and Brenda Chavis-Logan (co-founder, CFO) started The Perfect Timing Group in 2005 in Atlanta, Ga. – Phil, a native of Richmond, Va. started as the head timer at the University of South Carolina in 2000 where he was employed as a network engineer. He was introduced to Finishlynx technology by USTFCCCA Hall of Fame coach Curtis Frye (USC). Phil had been an All-American football standout at the University of South Carolina in the late 70's. Currently The Perfect Timing Group travels throughout the southeastern US providing timing service and racing expertise to universities, high schools and youth organizations.
Brenda Chavis-Logan has over 30 years' experience with track and field starting with parent of national youth champion, executive positions with Georgia USATF and many years operator of Lynx and HyTek timing system. Brenda is a master with track and field database and event organizations.
